The largest park in Poznań, located on the site of the former Poznan Fortress. Today, it is a place full of greenery, strolling alleys and historic fortifications, as well as numerous museums – the Museum of Armaments and the Museum of the “Poznań” Army.
Within the park you can also see monumental sculptures such as Magdalena Abakanowicz’s ‘Gate to Freedom’ and war cemeteries that remind you of the history of the place. It is an ideal place to relax, go jogging, have a picnic or go for a bike ride.
